In this presentation, three new studies by eye square from 2024 will be presented, highlighting the significant effect of social media ads on customer purchasing behavior and the reasons behind it. The first study shows that creator ads generate revenue on various platforms, with Snapchat being particularly highlighted. In the second study, the long-term effects of social media advertising on revenue are revealed. In the third study, eye-tracking on smartphones is used to investigate causality and show that the likelihood of follow-up purchases increases when ads on TikTok and similar platforms receive more attention.
