Michael Schiessl is presenting a study on Sept. 23, 13:00 h: "q.e.d. - Quality- Efficiency- Display", together with Alexander von Reibnitz and Wolfgang Dittrich.

Key results are: The average dwelling time on publishers' websites is significantly higher than on freemail portals. This is resulting in higher perception and higher ad effectiveness.

The study was ordered by VDZ Verband Deutscher Zeitschriftenverleger and conducted by eye square.

EyeTrackUX 2009 Conference, April 22 & 23, Frankfurt
The third Tobii Eyetracking Conference took place in Frankfurt/Main and brought together usability experts and solution providers (program of the conference). Michael Schießl held the closing keynote on "Seeing the World – Experiences in 10 Years Global Usability Research with Eye Tracking." on April 23 at 3pm.

CHI 2009, Boston USA, April 4-9
Sabrina Duda was in the CHI 2009 program committee of the Session: Mobile User Experience Research: Challenges, Methods & Tools (Program). She was a reviewer for the workshop and presented a position paper.

"Consumer meets Shopper" Seminar, March
We know the consumers' habits and attitudes towards the brands we account for as much as the shopping behaviour at the Point of Sale. But do we really always bring these insights together to implement them into the optimal ad, promotion or POS strategy? This March, Michael Schießl and Sabrina Duda dedicated a seminar on that topic, presented new research methods and Michael Schießl held the talk: "Hand in hand - How an Harmonic Communication Strategy can Touch the Consumer's Heart".

June 28, 07 - eye square wins award of the German Marketing Research 2007:
The eye square study for eBay was elected for the "Study of the Year" at the Marketing Research Congress in Frankfurt.

This study was the longest and most intensive online panel study so far, where with the help of the eye square Remote Tracking Server the behavior of the users was identified and the browsing experience was systematic diversified. For the first time the effectivety of online banner advertisement has been verified.

May 2005 - Cooperation with International University in Bremen: The eye square IAT in the Black Box (17 May - 31 October 2005)
In cooperation with the International University Bremen, the IAT is used in the IUB Black Box Project in Bremen. A total of 16 containers are presented: 15 designed by research institutes and one by IUB about "The World in Your Head - Surprises by Perception Psychology". Subjects of discourse included preconception research. To make the theme concrete for the visitors, the eye square IAT is offered in an interactive installation in the IUB black box container.
